The Ross Stewart Group is led by the very talented Ross Stewart and we were treated to a wonderful evening of music on 30th March 2024 performed by hugely gifted musicians. It was said after the event ‘No one should be that talented a guitar player at the age he is!’ He is indeed a superb blues rock guitarist and he also showcased some of his more mellow solo work. His band are all experienced musicians with varied musical backgrounds.

The evening was a hearty mix of some well known blues/rock covers and a few less known, combined with Ross including some of his self penned works.

They played songs by Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, Prince, The Stereophonics, Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding and many more.

Dancing was encouraged and a few brave souls took to the floor.

Ross Stewart has stunned the members and followers of Norfolk Blues Society with his inspired and seemingly innate sense of all that makes live performance worth going to see. He has a smooth warm vocal delivery that shows both sensitivity and power when needed. Light and shade in everything he does. His guitar musicianship is equally amazing with scintillating solos that can make the hair stand up on your neck. This young  musician is already an artist in the true sense of the word and deserves to be seen followed and admired.
