We have been so fortunate in the standard of musicians we have hosted in the hall. We’ve had the brilliant Gordon Giltrap, his protige, Carrie Martin (much admired by Rick Wakeman with whom she’s performed) and Edwina Hayes who’s performed with Fleedwood Mac. We’ve also had Magna Carta, huge in the 70s and 80s Ken Nicol of The Albion Band and Steeleye Span to name but a few. The Strawbs were booked but Covid sadly prevented them playing here. - Saturday 18th April - A welcome return for a brilliant band - The Vagaband. Please click anywhere on this line for further information about the band and booking details.
- Friday 19th June - Our live music night hosts well-known local bands ‘Bandwidth’ with ‘‘Third Degree’. Both bands will be performing a feel-good mix of well-known blues, rock and pop classics alongside some of their own original songs. Expect uplifting tunes to which you can sing along and even have a dance if the mood takes you! This village hall fundraiser promises to be a great night with our usual licensed bar offering great value refreshments.
- Saturday 11th July - Another very popular act in the form of Mr Brooks Williams. Brooks came to entertain us with Boo Hewerdine on his last visit. This time he's with the superb fiddle player Aaron Catlow. Both are superb musicians and excellent singer/songwriters too! - Saturday 31st October - THE SHOCK OF THE OLD - We are so very privileged to have the inimitable Terence Blacker returning to entertain us with his new show with which he's toured the country with well-deserved acclaim.
