Sharrington has been fortunate to have had a long association with Carrie. She has come to love Norfolk and she has deservedly gained many fans here, performing to packed houses.

Carrie hails from Hull. After a 20-year break she returned to music, encouraged by none other than the legendary acoustic guitarist, Gordon Giltrap who has become a close friend. She is an extremely accomplished guitarist and her songs are beautifully crafted and melodic.

All her albums, particularly the previous two, Seductive Sky and Entity, have received great critical acclaim and her 2023 album, ‘Evergreen’ was eagerly anticipated. In refection of her talent, Carrie has attracted a wealth of well-known musicians who feature on her albums including Elliott Randall (Steely Dan) Oliver Wakeman (Yes), Ric Sanders (Fairport Convention), Daniel Karl Cassidy (Eva’s brother) to name but a few and indeed, Gordon Giltrap himself.
